Hi. and welcome!

I’m incredibly excited as I’m putting this new blog, v-log, and brand together.

I don't know anyone else like me, and rather than seeing that as a bad thing for most of my life, I've finally embraced it.

I'm 47, or as I prefer to say, level 47! Like the band?

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I'd be here now. I'm slowly trying to reframe what society thinks about aging and focus on it in a positive way, rather than an inevitable something to be dreaded.

I don't think you're "supposed" to be a burlesque dancer at my age, and I love challenging what society thinks of older women.

Check out my IG (iamrachaeltyrell) for info about future appearances.

I like to express myself via sultry pics and videos. If you're looking for those, you can find some unabridged works on my OF page. I'm naughty but not lewd, you've been warned....

I'm also an accomplished web developer and have been working with WordPress, Javascript, and jQuery for over a dozen years. The last five years have found me deeply entrenched with Blogspot, Squarespace, and Shopify. If you need a classy goofball to make your brand presence, online shop, and social media sparkle and look beautiful, contact me via the Contact Form on the sidebar to your right.

Mental health and age positivity are also causes that I'm equally passionate about.

If you've read this far, you're a few minutes older and are stuck in your head. Even without this pandemic, we are unique with our own set of challenging circumstances. Everyone you know is fighting their own battles of varying degrees.

2020 and beyond has shown who many people really are, and when they show you who they really are, believe them!

That said, you don't have to put up with any crap.

I'm an official Field Advocate for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Suicide is something that's deeply affected my life and the lives of friends and family. I wish it wasn't stigmatized.

Feelings of helplessness and hopelessness are something we ALL struggle with from time to time. When it all becomes too much to deal with, the pain can overcome the will to challenge your inner demons.

More about me:
I was very crushed when the realization sunk in that I wasn't a good enough of a developer to be able to hang in Silicon Valley (I lived there 2011-2017). After the implosion of the so-called "coding boot camp" that I attended, I felt pretty shitty about my life prospects for a while. However, I'm grateful for the experience and made some awesome friends.

I write every day but it never gets out there—most of my thoughts and mini revelations have been kept to myself over the years.

However, I feel like now is the time to finally take the leap and start sharing what I have. It would be selfish and a shame to keep it all to myself, right? Maybe you need it too. Or maybe you don’t.

Sharing is spreading valuable and empowering info that otherwise would be kept locked in a tomb. We know how that worked out for the Egyptians....

At this point (and with my advancing age) and all, why be reserved about my thoughts and opinions and style and sexy pics?

I’m going to share what I believe is meaningful in hopes that it reaches somebody out there and makes a real difference.

Remember, if it isn't exquisite, get rid of it!

This goes for relationships as well as items that adorn you and your personal space.

The world belongs to those of us who work to become our best selves, crafting our lives just the way we’ve always imagined. We’re in this together!

I'm eternally grateful for the surprises that I receive from my Amazon Wishlist

I'm looking forward to being able to work with more backgrounds and props for future acts, performances, sets and videos.
